"Albert C. Krapp"
Albert Carl Krapp, 78, retired tailor, died this morning at 7:30 at his home, 90 South Poplar street, after a two weeks ailment due to heart trouble. He had retired from business seven years ago.

Born in Ashland, July 30, 1869, he was a son of Frederick and Elizabeth Schaeffer and had resided in Hazleton for the past 64 years. He was a pioneer in the merchant tailoring business in which he worked here for more than half a century. He was a member of Grace Reformed church, Order of Independent Americans, Lafayette Council No. 59, and the Laurel Hill Glee Club.

Mr. Krapp's wife was formerly Elizabeth Fisher, who preceded him in death seven years ago. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Van Gerhard, Drums; Harry Krapp, Hazleton; Mrs. George Masker, Berwick; Mrs. Lester Bahrt, at home. Two sisters also survive, Mrs. Joseph Knouse and Mrs. John Shipe, of Vero Beach, Florida, along with five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral will take place from the family residence on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with Rev. William Y. Gebhard officiating. Interment will be made in Vine street cemetery. Friends may call Thursday afternoon and evening.

Albert C. Krapp, of 80 South Poplar street, was buried this afternoon. Rev. William Y. Gebhard, pastor of the Grace Reformed church, officiated and interment was in the Vine street cemetery. Pallbearers were: George Strack, Conrad Klutz and Justus Schatz, members of the Laurel Hill Glee Club, and Josiah Schafer, Carl W. Smith and Richard Walton, members of the Independent Order of America, Lafayette Council No. 59.
