Charles H. Brown died yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George Stabler, 78 Madison Street.
He was born in Cobleskill, Oct. 22, 1855. His parents were Margaret Strobeck and George H. Brown. His wife, who died several years ago, was Lydia Oliver.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. George Stabler and Mrs. John Gillette, both of Cortland; two sons, George H. Brown of Cortland, and Nelson Brown of Upper Lisle; one brother, Arthur Brown of Cincinnatus; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The funeral will be held from 78 Madison Street, Sunday at 2:30 p.m., and will be conducted by Rev. George M. Perkins of the Homer Avenue Methodist church. Burial will be made in Glenwood cemetery, Homer.
