The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Friday in Bethel Baptist Church. Burial, directed by Dial-Murray Funeral Home of Moncks Corner, will be in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Gaskins was born in Huger, a son of Edward Gaskins and Belle Raybourne Gaskins.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth Ackerman Gaskins; three daughters, Carolyn Sellers of Florida, Elaine Casselman of Jamestown and Elma Crowley of Moncks Corner; three sons, Bubba Gaskins of Huger and Edward B. Gaskins and Cecil D. Gaskins, both of Macedonia; a sister, Agnes Ackerman of Huger; two brothers, G. Hazael Gaskins and Edson D. Gaskins, both of Huger; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
