Dale L. Pearson 70, Anderson, passed away July 13, 2007 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born December 18, 1936 in Hamilton County and attended Walnut Grove High School in Arcadia. He lived in Anderson for the past 25 years. Dale retired from Firestone in Noblesville after 31 years. He was raised by his grandparents, Vern and Opal Pearson of Hamilton County. He served in the US Marines from 1953 to 1956. He is survived by his wife of eight and one half years, Thelma M. Pearson of Anderson; son, Michael Dale (wife, Sandy) Pearson of Noblesville; stepsons, Fred Umbreit of Louisville, KY, Troy B. Bell of Indianapolis and Chris D. Schaekel of Indianapolis; sister, Patty (husband, Charles) Beckley of Fortville; cousin, Kenneth (wife, Shirley) Melton of Fortville; and aunt, Letha Hiday. Our special thanks to our Hospice Nurse, Charles Boring, our Chaplain, Don Weston and social worker, Tonya Gonzalez. Services will be conducted at 5 p.m. Sunday at Brown- Butz - Diedring Funeral Home. Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice Service.
