Catherine, better known as Elizabeth or Lizzie, is the daughter of John W Burger Sr and Anne Margurite (Margaret Ann) Burger. She married Walter Abram Smith in 1882, and the couple had 11 children together prior to Walter's death in 1909. Lizzie was remarried to Walter Welch on 1 Nov 1922 in Flynn, Sanilac Co, MI. Mr. Welch died in 1928.
