She was the daughter of James Henry and Louisa B. Frasier of Paulding County, Georgia. On January 24, 1904, she married John Edward Beavers, he son of John Hamilton and Eugenia Josephine Moore Beavers of Marietta, Georgia. Athie and John Beavers had five children, of whom three survived to be adults: John Henry, Mytle Inez and Clarence Herman Beavers. Two children died: Winfred and Ernest William Beavers.
