John McGrath of Beaverton died Wednesday at St. Mary's hospital, Saginaw, from stiptotoccis infection, after an illness of six days. The trouble started from a pimple on his chin. A doctor in Saginaw recently died from a similar infection from pricking his finger in an operation, the system filling with poison, for which no relief could be obtained.
Mr. McGrath recently moved to Beaverton from Gladwin, having been manager of the pickle station here several years. He was 33 years of age and he leaves wife and two children and mother, Mrs. Orin Coates, who with many friends mourn his loss. He was a member of Beaverton F. & A.M.
