The former Hilda Stucky was born June 24, 1907 in Goodhue County and moved to Dodge County, Minnesota with her parents, Louis and Anna Stucky when she was a child.
Hilda married Clarence Stevenson on May 25, 1929 in Old Concord, Minnesota and the couple farmed in there for a short time until Mr. Stevenson became a cheese maker. He worked at several cheese making facilities in Dodge County until they moved in to Mantorville in 1954. Hilda was employed as a cook at the Highway 57 Cafe in Mantorville from 1956 until retiring in 1976. Mr. Stevenson who was residing in a nursing home died in 1982.
Survivors include 3 sons, 3 daughters, 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and a brother.
The funeral is a 2 pm at the First Congregational Church in Mantorville with the Rev. Ambrose Collins officiating. Burial will be in the Wildwood Cemetery in Wasioja, Minnesota.
