George Etscheid, 69, of 10660 Champlain, died Tuesday, October 19, ending a brief illness.
Mr Etscheid, who was retired, was born in Wisconsin August 20, 1881 and had been residing in this community for the past 43 years.
He was the husband of the late Genevieve, nee Banta; father of Mrs Margaret Laird, of Elgin, IL, George F., William H., of Indianapolis, Ind., Mrs Jeanne Worn and the late Arnold Etscheid; and brother of Elmer, Edgar of Hinsdale, Il., Mrs Anna Jakum of Fort Atkinson, Wis., the late Frank, William and Carl. Thirteen grandchildren survive.
Funeral services were held Monday, October 23, at 1:30 pm from the Milton Bros Funeral Home with Dr. John H Williamson in charge. Mrs Margaret Anderson was soloist and Mrs. Margaret Vanderbilt was organist. Internment was in Mount Greenwood Cemetery.
