FORMER COUNTY OFFICIAL DIES
Former Tulsa County Commissioner William James Dickey died Monday at his home in Oklahoma City after a four-month illness.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Watts Funeral Home in Oklahoma City, with burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens there.

Mr. Dickey, 73, was Tulsa County Dist. 2 commissioner from 1928-30. He later operated a grocery store in West Tulsa before moving to Oklahoma City after the death of his first wife, Stella, in 1951. He remarried in 1953

For the last five years he was a real estate salesman. He was a member of the University Place Church in Oklahoma City, was a native of Mineral Bluff, Ga., and in Tulsa was active in Republican affairs.

Surviving are his wife, Della; three sons, Ted and William J., both of Oklahoma City, and Jack M. of Englewood, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Ellen Ford of Duncan; two sisters, 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
