LONG BEACH - Harold E. Bond, 65, died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2000, in Gulfport.Mr. Bond was a native of Harrison County and was a housepainter. He was a member of the Long Beach Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Norma Snyder.Survivors include his wife, Vernell Bond; a son, Preston Bond; two daughters, JoAnn Traina and Linda Smith, all of Long Beach; a brother, Warren Bond of Memphis; a sister, Marion Alexander of Long Beach; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Allen Cemetery in Long Beach. Riemann Funeral Home in Long Beach was in charge of arrangements
