Wednesday at 2 p.m. funeral services for Mrs. Orah Skipworth, 74, are to be conducted at the residence, 801 Carridale St. by the Rev. F.T. Dismukes. Mrs. Skipworth, who had been ill for about a month, died this morning at 2:25 at Baugh-Wiley Clinic.
A native of Hardeman County, Tenn, the deceased is survived by her husband, Owen Skipworth; two daughters, Mrs. Claude Gossett, Memphis and Mrs. Eva Joseph, Decatur; three sons, W.C., Clarence and Parnell Shipworth, all of Decatur; two sisters, Mrs. Lula Hatcock, Memphis; Mrs. Lorraine Brumblow, Middleton, Tenn; thee brothers, Grover and George Vaughn, both of Middleton, Tenn; Sam Vaughn, Memphis and 18 grandchildren.
Grandsons are to serve as pallbearers. Interment in Roselawn Cemetery is to be directed by Brown Funeral Home.
