Goldthwaite – Services are pending for Mills County native Thomas Daniel Goodwin, 63. Mr. Goodwin died Friday in a Goldthwaite hospital.
He was a barber in Blanket, where he had moved from Mullin in 1928. Born June 28, 1899, Mr. Goodwin married Mae Delle Burkett of Mullin in Oct. 1920.
He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Rex Ivy of Kingsville, Mrs. Dan Geeslin of Goldthwaite and Mrs. Don Beck of Brownwood; three sisters, Mrs. Craig Wesson of Goldthwaite, Mrs. Aubrey French of Mullin and Mrs. O. E. Rice of Mullin; and 11 grandchildren.
