Surviving are two daughters, one son, five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; four step children; nineteen step grandchildren; nineteen step great grandchildren; one brother, and two sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
He was raised and educated in Galesburg, Illinois. He served in the United State Air Force from March 4, 1955 to July 31, 1957 where he worked as an Airframe Repairman. He worked for Pipestone Body Shop in Minnesota, then the Weaver Yemm Body Shop in Galesburg, Illinois, then retiring from Adams Press Metals.
There will be no services. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
