FRED DAVIS -DIES
Fred Davis, 37, died at his residence on the Vancleave Highway Saturday afternoon, after an illness of several months. The funeral was
held yesterday afternoon with services by Father Chauvin of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and Interment in Seymour Cemetery, Fort Bayou. He is survived by his father and a sister. He was a World War veteran, served overseas and was a member of the Ladnier Post American Legion of Ocean Springs, Pallbearers were: Ellis Hardy, John Seymour, Raymond and Thomas Guillott, R. Snow and J. A. McMurtray. A firing squad; from
Battery F, Biloxi, in charge of Lt. Jos. Wink, accorded military honors and
taps were blown by Edward Bellman.
