He was born June 30; 1883, in Greene County, son of the late John and Hannah Diehl Durrer.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ethel E. Durrer; three sons, Burnie Durrer of Chicago, Ill., Cecil Durrer of Baltimore, Md., and John C. Durrer, of Columbia; five daughters, Mrs. Ruth Price and Mrs. Earline Roberts, both of Charlottesville, Mrs. Ruby Seal of Winchester, Mrs. Opal Crickenberger of Grottoes, and Mrs. Viola Robinson of San Francisco, Calif.; a sister Mrs. Beulah Marshall of Charlottesville; 17 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
