Graveside services for Bobbie Carl Hatcher will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Valliant Cemetery. Bobbie Carl Hatcher of Muskogee, Oklahoma formerly of Valliant, Oklahoma died Monday, June 1, 2009 at the age of 79. Bobbie was born on September 30, 1929, in Abbott, Texas, the son of Sam Henry and Hattie Bell (Johnson) Hatcher. Bobbie was a hard worker; always supporting his family. Bobbie worked construction and was part of the construction crew that built the Turner turnpike stretching from Oklahoma City to Tulsa. He also worked several years for Webber Aircraft in Gainesville, Texas and a local propane company before retiring. He had lived in the Valliant area for 30 years. He loved to go camping with his family and thoroughly enjoyed fishing and deer hunting. He was preceded in death by his wife Joan Hatcher; several sisters and brothers. Bobbie is survived by twelve children: Jerry Hatcher of Ft. Worth, Texas, Stanley Hatcher of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Pauletta Thompson of Coweta, Oklahoma, Janet Strickland of Coweta, Oklahoma, Darrell Hatcher of Wagoner, Oklahoma, Bobby Hatcher of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Patty Eckers of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Pam Hatcher of Lampasas, Texas, Tony Hatcher of Ft. Worth, Texas, Carl Hatcher of Ft. Worth, Texas, Debra Miligan of Ft Worth, Texas, Troy Hatcher of Ft. Worth, Texas; one brother: Lan Hatcher of Valliant, Oklahoma; one sister: Georgie Ginnis of Valliant, Oklahoma; numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren; numerous Nieces and Nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 9, 2009 from 11:00-1:00 p.m. in the Mt. Olive Chapel.
