Mrs. Ida Catherine Mongold, 92, of Washington Court House, Ohio, formerly of Grant Co., died Friday, March 18, 1983 in Greenfield Hospital, Greenfield, Ohio.

Born April 6, 1890 in Grant County, she was a daughter of the late William Ours and Virginia (See) Ours. Her husband Jesse E. Mongold, died April 23, 1975. She was also preceded in death by one son, one daughter, one sister and one brother.

Surviving are two sons, Ray Mongold, Rough Run, and Albert Mongold, Greenfield, Ohio; three daughters, Daisy Thorne, Rough Run, Velma Ayers, Dorcas, Icie Wolfe of Florida; two sisters, Mary Bell Ours, a resident at the Pendleton Co. Nursing Home in Franklin, Blanche Hinkle, Forrestville, Va.; 18 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.

Services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at the Morris-Huffman Funeral Home in Washington Court House with the Rev. Shelly Bondurant officiating. Interment was in a Washington Court House cemetery
