Funeral for Matthew "Matt" Markeith Hampton, 22, of Fairbanks, Alaska, will be Saturday at noon at Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church in Hillsboro with the Rev. Matthew Hampton officiating.
Burial will be in Cottingham Cemetery with Reynolds Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Hampton died Friday, Jan 5, 2001, at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital. He was born Nov 8, 1978, in Morgan County to Matthew Hampton and Linda Fay Bell Hampton. He was a graduate of Howard Luke High School in Alaska and a member of Lily of the Valley Church of God in Christ.
Survivors include his parents; two brothers, O'Neal Hampton of Phoenix, Ariz, and Michael Ross Hampton of Fairbanks; three sisters, Shantel Hampton, La'Shelle Hampton and Elizabeth Hampton, all of Fairbanks; and his grandmother, Annie P Bell of Hillsboro.
