MRS. SEYMOUR DIES
Mrs. Jane Fletcher Seymour died at the home of her son Calvin at Fort Bayou community at 4 p.m. September 28. Mrs. Seymour lived for many years at her at Fort Bayou, but on account of failing health she had for a short time made her home with her son Calvin.
Mrs. Seymour would have reached her 75th birthday in a few weeks.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, three grandchildren, Martha, Fred and Mary Seymour; one brother, Mr. Fletcher of LaRue.
Rev. H.W. Van Hook conducted the services, and the many beautiful flowers covering the grave attested to the high esteem in which Mrs. Seymour was held by her many friends.

Lydia is the daughter of Ziba Mathis Fletcher & Martha Rogers.
Jane and Louis had three children, two of whom died in infancy. Their son Calvin Matthew 'Bob' Seymour married Celia Tanner and raised a large family.
Lydia ran a small store located in her home in the Ft Bayou Community west of Vancleave.
