They had 2 sons: Robert Edwin 1918 - 1926 and a second son, Gerald Howard 1921 - 2014. They divorced in 1926/27. Irene, then, married John Joseph RUTHERFORD (1890 - 1966). They had one daughter, Georgia "Dawn" RUTHERFORD KEENEN (1929 - 1998). Irene was a member of the Eastern Star in Chicago. She died in her sleep of natural causes and was cremated and interred at Sylvan Abbey Cemetery in Clearwater, FL.
