George W. Bish was born in Virgina to Frederick Bish, his mother's name may have been Barbara Weatherbolt (I cannot document this fact). He married Susannah A. Noftzinger on 10 Sep 1816 in Botetourt, VA. They relocated a number of years later into Illinois before arriving in Northern Missouri, in the late 1830's. Together they had at least nine children I can document: Eveline Ruth, William H., Abraham, Joseph N., David A., John Greene, James F. Elizabeth including my ancestor Eveline Ruth Bish, in 1817 before they left VA.
