"Roy G "Buddy" Aldridge, 80, of Washington, died Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes."
"He was born in Daviess Co., Nov. 27, 1926, the son of Ira and Lela (Stone) Aldridge."
"He attended Washington schools and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a self- employed plumber and electrician."
"Surviving are a sister ... one stepdaughter ... four stepsons ... 16 step-grandchildren and 15 step-great-grandchildren."
"His wife, Bonnie Atha (Ahlert) whom he married April 1964, preceded him in death June 25, 2005. A sister Martha Ward and two brothers, Delbert and Gilbert Aldridge, also preceded him in death."
"Funeral services were at 1:30 pm Friday, July 27, 2007 at Gill Chapel in Washington. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery."
