Kershaw Banker Commits Suicide at His Home
Had Been in Ill Health
Henry F. Clyburn, well-known citizen of Kershaw and cashier of the People's Bank of that place, ended his own life at this home about 10 o'clock yesterday morning. Mr. Clyburn had been unwell for some time but went to the bank as usual yesterday morning. Returning to his home for breakfast he went into his room and placed a pistol in his mount and fired, death resulting in a few minutes.
Mr. Clyburn was the youngest son of Capt L.L. Clyburn of DeKalb, Kershaw County, and was prominently connected in both Lancaster and Kershaw counties. He is survived by his wife, who, before marriage was Miss Rosa Stover, and three children. He also leaves four brothers and one sister, all prominent citizens of the county.
