Mrs. James T. Mount passed away at her home near Irwin, December 25, 1916 after an illness of several weeks.
Mary M. Bartlett was born in Green County Illinois, November 17, 1874. She moved with her parents to Missouri when a child. She was united with the Christian Church at the age of sixteen and continued a faithful Christian the remainder of her life.
The funeral services were conducted at the home by Rev. Anderson of the Sheldon Christian Church. The remains were interred at the Sheldon Cemetery.
The deceased leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, two sons, two daughters, an aged father and mother, several brothers and sisters, and a host of friends who were at her bedside to the last.
