Horrocks, 93, of Salt Lake City,
who died Saturday, June
12, 1976.
His sister lives in Heber
City.
He was born Oct. 20,1882, in
Heber City to Roger and Sarah
Ann Taylor Horrocks. He
married Caroline Dudley on
May 2, 1905, in Vernal.
Marriage was later solemnized
in the Salt Lake LDS
Temple.
Mr. Horrocks was active in
the LDS Church. He served as
a High Priest, full - time
missionary, member of a
choir and Sunday School
superintendent.
Survivors include his wife;
two sons and two daughters,
Harold D. and Marion R.
Horrocks, both Salt Lake City;
Mrs. Lamont ( V e r n a )
Beecroft, South Jordan; Mrs.
Ben (Vella) Pilati, Murray; 12
grandchildren; 19 great -
grandchildren; one brother
and two sisters, Brigham
Horrocks, Blackfoot, Ida.;
Alice Jones of California; and
Verna Epperson of Heber
City.
Services will be at Jenkins -
Soffe Mortuary, where friends
may call tonight from 6 to 8
o'clock, and Tuesday one hour
prior to services. Burial will
be in Wasatch Lawn Memorial
Park.
FORMER JENSEN RESIDENT DIES IN SALT LAKE

JENSEN--David Horrocks, 93, died June 12, 1976, of natural causes. Mr. Horrocks was born October 20, 1992 in Heber City, Utah, to Roger and Sarah Ann Taylor Horrocks. He married Caroline Dudley May 2, 1905 in Vernal. The marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple.

Mr. Horrocks was a High Priest in the LDS Church. He served a two year stake mission and was a member of the Sunday School in the Roosevelt Ward.

Mr. Horrocks was a rancher and farmer. He is survived by his wife, sons and daughters, Harold D., Mariona R., Salt Lake City; Mrs. Lamont (Verna) Beechcroft, South Jordan; Mrs. Ben (Vella) Pilati, Murray; 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Alica Jones, California; Bingham, Blackfoot, Idaho and Verna Epperson, Heber City.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 15th, in the Jenkins-Aoffe Mortuary in Murray. Burial was in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
