Norma Jean Banks, 81, of Freeport, Texas, Passed away Thursday, July 2, 2009, at Woodlake Nursing Home. She was born May 31, 1928, to Marshall and Ida Montgomery in Davis, Oklahoma. She came to Freeport in 1951 with her husband, Morris Henry Banks. Norma was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years; her parents; three sisters and one brother.
Norma is survived by two children, Morrissia Banks of Freeport and Monty Banks and wife, Connie, of Stephenville; three grandchildren, Sarah Fitzgerald, Stephen and Andrew Banks; her special friends, Fred and Delores Rodriguez, Martha Rodriguez, Fernando and Liz Rodriguez and Joseph.
