Mrs. Spratley was born March 22, 1926, in Laurel, was raised in Gulfport and had been a resident of Pascagoula since 1951. She was a member of St. Johns Episcopal Church, past president of Episcopal Church Women, former member and past Noble Grand of Purity Rebekah Lodge No. 42 IOOF.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Schrieber and Mittie Ellerman; and a brother, Louis Ellerman.
Survivors include her husband, Julius Spratley of Pascagoula; two sons, Douglas Spratley of Gautier and Albert Spratley of Pascagoula; a daughter, Patricia Coleman of Hattiesburg; a sister, Mit Greer of Brookhaven; and a granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula. A service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Johns Episcopal Church, with burial in Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula.
The family prefers memorials to St. Johns Episcopal Church, Hospice of Light Volunteers, Singing River Industries or to one's favorite charity.
