SAVANNAH - Barry Allen Smith made his transition from this life Saturday, July 11, 2009. Barry was a retired veteran and employed by the Hines Veteran Hospital of Chicago, Illinois. Later, he moved to Savannah, GA, where he met and married Yvonne Cutter of Savannah. Barry Smith is survived by his loving wife, Yvonne C. Smith; a son, Marcellus Mitchell Smith (Minneapolis, Minnesota); one sister, Patricia Smith-Yancy (Chicago, Illinois); a daughter, Chinice Spencer-Smith (Chicago, Illinois); 13 (thirteen) grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. The Funeral will be held Friday July 17, 2009 at Overcoming By Faith Church at 11:00 a.m., reposing at 9 a.m., at the Church until hour of service.
