He was stationed in England as a turret gunner in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He was employed by Dow for 34 years until his retirement and was an active member in Little League for 35 years.
He is preceded by his parents and four sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Banks of Freeport; daughter, Morrissia Banks of Freeport; son, Dr. Monty and wife, Connie Banks, of Stephenville, TX; granddaughter, Sarah Fitzgerald of Denton, TX; grandsons, Stephen Banks and Andrew Banks of Stephenville, TX; extended family, Fred and Delores Fernando, and Maria Rodriguez; and Max the dog.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at the Freeport Funeral Home in Freeport.
