Worthington, March 22.-Ulysses B. Yockey, 76, Life-Long Resident of this place, died in his home on Wednesday afternoon, March 21, 1945, at 4:30 o'clock. Mr. Yockey had served as justice of the peace in the Borough for 30 years. For 47 years he was connected with the Peter Graff Milling company. In later years he conducted a feed store here. He was a member of Worthington Lutheran church and the Eagles lodge of Kittanning. Mr. Yockey was a son of Samuel and Helen (Burns) Yockey, now deceased. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Delilah (Lemmon) Yockey; five daughters, Mrs. I. M. Klugh and Mrs. R.J. Brewster, both of Butler; Mrs. Harry Johnson, Kittanning; Miss Marie Yockey and Ruby Rugini, both of Alexandria, Va.; two step-daughter, Mrs. John Holben of Chicora and Mrs. Henry Thyle of Pontiac, Mich.; five sons, William and Charles serving with the U.S. Army in Italy; George, U.S. Army hospital, Menlo Park, Calif.; Eugene, Kittanning, and James Yockey, at home. Also surviving are 22 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and a brother, McCurdy Yockey of Worthington. Friends are being received in the Walker funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in Worthington Lutheran church with the pastor, Rev. Charles T. Schlotter, officiating. Burial will be made in Worthington Lutheran cemetery.
