Mrs. Julia Trammel was born in Cross Town, MO and had lived in Grand Tower 48 years. Her siblings include a half-brother, Tom Hayer (sic) of Cape Girardeau.

She was married to Charles Trammel in 1904, at around the age of 16, who preceded her in death. Her children include Mrs. Myrtle Kronk of Dupo, Mrs. Grace Pillow of St. Louis, Mrs. Irene Henry of anna, Mrs. Pauline Frogge of Elgin, Mrs. Doris Ellet of Grand Tower, Ted of Dupo, Ralph of Galveston, TX, Roy of Grand Tower and Harry of Detroit, MI.

Ms. Trammel died at the age of 69 in Carbondale on Thursday, October 10, 1957. Her funeral service was held at the Methodist Church in Grand Tower. Crawshaw Mortuary Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
