BUNTON
Mr. J. A. Bunton died about four o'clock Friday morning, May 8, at the home of his son, Mr. James Bunton, near Lexington, after several years of declining health. He was a native of Mercer county, but a few years ago moved to Lexington. In early life he joined the Christian church and was an active member until ill health prevented him from attending. His funeral services were held at the Ebenezer church Sunday afternoon at two o'clock. Those who survive him are his widow, Mrs. Hannah Bunton, and six children, Mr. R. S. Bunton, of McAfee; Messrs. James Bunton, J. A. Bunton and Charlie Bunton, of Lexington; Mrs. Homer Cinnamon and Mrs. Luther Sewell, of Lexington; thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
