Neal P. Cole was born Aug. 10, 1918, in Grand Rapids, Mich. During World War II, he served in the Army. He lived in Long Beach, Calif., and moved to Milwaukie in the 1970s. He was a self-employed mason and drywall contractor.
Survivors include his daughter-in-law, Loreen Cole; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. His son, Neal P. Jr., died in 2007.
