Lifetime Shawnee resident Chris Anderson died Monday, July 13, 2009, in Shawnee at the age of 43.
He was born Dec. 23, 1965, in Shawnee to Andy and Marylyn (Carter) Anderson.
He graduated from Liberty Academy and Seminole Junior College.
He worked in manufacturing - magnet manufacturing and TDK, and in home construction.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, W.E. and Eva Carter, and P.C. Anderson.
Survivors include his parents, Andy and Marylyn of the home; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Andria and Robert Johnson of Shawnee and Eva and Rex Davidson of Mustang; one brother and sister-in-law, Neil and Lisa Anderson of Shawnee; grandmother, Betty Anderson of Richmond, Ind.; nieces and nephews, Amanda and Patricia Johnson, Kyle and Colby Anderson, Colton and Rylie Davidson; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Service will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 17, at Rock Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Zimmer officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
