Mrs. Harry (Myrtle) Fowler, 92, passed away on March 3 at the Morningside Manor Nursing home in Alcester, IA.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 5, in the Wagner Iverson Funeral Home, with Rev. Erick Holmstrom of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Bluff View Cemetery.
Myrtle Dell Chaussee was born on Sept. 13, 1889, at Vermillion. She married Harry Fowler in 1909 in Vermillion. She was a member of the Baptist Church, a 50 year member of the Eastern Star and the Degree of Honor. She lived in Vermillion for many years, and resided in the Morningside Manor since 1970. She was preceded in death by her husband on Jan. 13, 1972.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Maurice (Helen) Rawlings of Sioux City, IA; three grandsons,; two granddaughters; fourteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
