R W Gibbs, Resident of Provo, Dies at 72
Provo, May 14 -- Reese William Gibbs, 72, a native of Wales, died at his home, 381 South Third West street, this city, last night. In 1874 he came to Utah and for many years lived in Carbon county, where he was active in church work, having served as a counselor in the Clear Creek ward bishopric. He moved to Provo six years ago.
Besides his widow, he is survived by a son, Henry, and nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the Sixth ward meeting house tomorrow at 1 o'clock. The casket will be open at the Hatch undertaking establishment prior to the funeral.
