Born in the Dakota Territory to Cyrus Sing and Lavina Margaret (Benson) Lloyd. Cyrus' brother Marshall Burns Lloyd of Menominee, MI was the inventor of the Lloyd Loom and Pres. of Lloyd Manufacturing. Marshall Wesley Lloyd worked for him for a time before striking out on his own to come to Toledo where he married 19 Jan 1915 Rachael Marie Navarre, descendant of Robert Navarre, Peter's brother.
