Immigrated to America with husband August 1771. She is of Scottish noble descent. Private Cemetery on RT 614, Preston Richardson farm on Cedar Springs Rd., born in 1753 in Scotland, came from a wealthy and prestigious Scots family, but fell in love with the family Irish footman, James Scott, and they became a runaway couple to Virginia. They were possibly married in 1769 in England and came to Virginia in 1771.
