Died.

At the home of Addison Youngs two miles north-west of Oronoque, Monday morning June 12th, of heart disease, Mrs. Almira Blood, aged 61 years, 8 months and 7 days.

Mrs. Blood was well known in this community as an earnest Christian woman, one who was ever ready to minister to the sick and distressed. She made her home with her daughter Mrs. Addie Youngs and Mrs. Ella Camp. Mrs. Hattie Goodenough of Rawlins Co., was summoned to attend her mother's funeral and came Monday evening. Two sons and two daughters were too far away to come. Funeral services were conducted by the writer and well attended.

Obituary.

Mrs. J.R. Goodenough received a telegram from Delvale, last week Monday, that her mother was dead. She immediately took the train from Brewster and arrived at Delvale in time to take a last look at that beloved face before it was consigned to its last resting place. Mrs. Almira Blood was 61 years of age at the time of her death June 12, 1893. For 34 years she had been a consistent member of the Church of God, and according to her faith we believe she has fallen asleep in Jesus, and when the last glad trumpet of God shall sound , she will arise immortal. "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: yea saith the spirit, that they rest from their labors, and their works do follow them."

Now the loving heart is still,
And the life that once did fill
All her being with a mother's tender care
From its tenement has flown
Out into the vast unknown,
With its kindred native elements to share

Though we may not clearly know
What the future life will show,
We believe her life is hid with Christ in God
And when Christ her life shall come
He will call her from the tomb
Though her body may rest beneath the sod

Thenk dear mother, this bright hope
Cheers our drooping spirits up,
And we hope thy loving face again to see.
It with patience we endure,
In the glorious earth made pure,
We shall share a glad eternity with thee.
