The Charles Cornwell family had a grist mill known as Cornwell Mill near Herring/Bull Run not far from the cemetery in which Charles is buried.He was the third husband of my great,great,great grandmother Mary Field-Strahin-Martin-Cornwell.
She outlived each one of them.
Charles requested when he died he wanted a mill stone to mark his grave.
Note:Charles first wife was Leticia (Lott) Cornwell.
Children with Leticia were,Charlotte Cornwell,Louisa Cornwell,and Sarah Emaretta Cornwell.
