May 10, 1965---Mrs Alice A Mayfield of 1437 West Central, died at 11:15 p.m. Sunday in her home after a lingering illness. a member of the Baptist church, she is survived by five sons, Albert Price of Escalon, California, Harvey Price 1316 North Wabash, Floyd Price, Verona, Lester Price, Stockton, California, and Bill Alvoid, Springfield. Three daughters; Mrs Ruby Gastineau, of the home, Mrs Lillie VanGorken, Neosho, and Mrs Maybelle Woody, 2801 West Olive, Springfield, Three sisters; Mrs Josephine Fox, Mrs Bertie Bullington, and Nellie Vanderpool, all of Springfield, a brother Namon Hickman of Springfield. funeral services will be at 10:30 a m Wednesday in Klinger Chapel with the Rev. Earl Smith officiating. burial will be in Brookline cemetery.
