Ardys Eloise Berg was born April 21, 1916 in Warwick Township, North Dakota, the daughter of Edward Sigfred Berg and Emma Christina Magnuson Berg. She attended Tokio Public School for eleven years and graduated from Warwick High School in 1934. She received her Standard Teaching Certificate from Valley City State College in 1942. She taught school at Woodlake #1, Mission #3, Plainview #2, Lone Tree #2, Harlow and Kramer schools from 1935 to 1944. She also taught Daily Vacation Bible School in the local area for several years during the summer months.

On January 12, 1945, Ardys married Clarence L. Zetter of rural Sheyenne, ND. They farmed in the Oberon-Sheyenne community until October 1987, when they moved to Devils Lake, N.D. In 1998, Ardys moved to Hillsboro, Oregon to be near her daughters. She lived at Rock Creek Retirement until November 2005, when she moved to a foster care home, where she resided until her death.

Ardys was a member of the Tokio and Devils Lake Assemblies of God (River of Life Chapel) churches and served as Sunday School Superintendent, Treasurer and teacher for many years. She was also a part of the Women's Missionary Council and a member of the Twin Tree Homemakers Club. She enjoyed baking & cooking.

She is survived by daughters Sherrill (Larry) Baker of Hillsboro, Oregon, Beth Zetter (Virgil Hockett) of Cornelius, Oregon and Nola Zetter Kunze, Newberg, Oregon; three grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; sisters Evelyn LaBruyere, Winifred Heltne, Ferne Ullestad, Ruby (Edward) Linde, and Cleo (Leo) Carlson; brother Dennis (Angie) Berg; sisters-in-law, Gladys Berg, Jane Zetter, Elsie Zetter Dennis, and Melissa Zetter. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Warren, brothers Lowell, Roger and Ralph, sister Bonnie Kensinger and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law.
