She married Samuel T. Love (son of Charles Jones Love) on 03 May 1880 in Dyer Co., TN. Mary and Sam had three children: Florence, Lottie, and Richard Enloe Love. Sam fell off his horse and died as he rode to get the doctor when Enloe was born in 1891.
Mary was left to raise three children on her own. She moved to Jackson, TN where she became a dressmaker for Hollands, one of the big department stores in Jackson at the time.
One of her daughters, Lottie, died tragically in 1909 at the age of 19. Although she lived with her other daughter, Florence Love Wallace, at one time, her last known address in Jackson was 305 Lafayette Street, where she was listed in the 1920 census as a dressmaker.
