Miss Moses, a native of Vidalia and a graduate of the Vidalia High School, died as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident on Thursday afternoon of last week.
Interment was in Pinecrest Cemetery where the last rites were concluded. Pallbearers were: James Reid, Fred Zeigler, Johnny Davis, Mike Mills, Lowell Clarke, Jr, Hughes Threlkeld, John Warthen, and Matt Oxley.
Honorary pallbearers included an escort formed by members of the Vidalia Senior Girl Scout Troop, and Tom Wommack, Milton Callaway, J.R. Trippe and Ed Smith. Murchison Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Miss Moses, who graduated this year from the Vidalia High School, had been accepted as a student at Middle Georgia College. While in high school here she was a member of the tennis team, the Thespian Society, Future Teachers of America, the Dramatic Club, the VHS cheerleaders, the Seniors Girl Scouts, and the Vidalia First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Grace Elliott Moses, a brother, Jody Moses, all of Vidalia; her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Nettie Elliott of Cochran; her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Mattie Lou Moses of Vidalia, and several aunts and uncles.
