Mrs. Barron Dies at Home
NELSONVILLE -- Mrs. Lydia Margaret Barron, 65, died this morning at her home on Grosvenor Street.
She is survived by her husband, John Barron; four sons, Porter and Donald of Nelsonville, Robert of Mansfield, and James stationed in the Pacific with the Army; four daughters, Mrs. Blanche Delong and Mrs. Vivian McQuaid of Nelsonville, Mrs. Irene Bailey, Shade, and Mrs. Mildred Hudnall, Albany; 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Poling and Mrs. Betty Graham, Salem; three brothers, Leonard and William Six of Salem and Leslie (Pete)Six of Dayton.
One of the grandsons, Junior Barron was reared in the Barron home and is now serving in the Navy at Great Lakes.
Lydia was preceded in death by her father John Wesley Six in the 1890's; her mother Sarah Catherine (Bowersoc) Six Shaw in 1944 and her brother John Wesley Six, II in 1941.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been made.
