She was born March 17, 1920, in Findlay, the daughter of Grant and Edith White Shadow. She married Wayne Andrews. He died in 1972. She later married Harold Vettel and he preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were two grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters.
Mrs. Vettel was a sales clerk at Roland's for nine years and a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Debbie Rodgers of Springfield and Barbara Foster of Biloxi, Miss.; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; mother, Edith Shadow; six sisters; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services: Staab Funeral Home, the Rev. W.P. Witkop and the Rev. Glen VanderKloot officiating. Burial: Oak Ridge Cemetery.
