Julia Isabell Randall, 102, one of Grandfield's early day residents, died Tuesday morning in a Wichita Falls nursing home folloiwing an extended illness. Funeral will be at 2:30 Thursday in the Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel here with Rev. Mitchell Lowry, pastor of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Walters Cemetery.
Mrs. Randall was born April 18, 1873 near Linneus, MO., and married Gilbert William Randall there *Dec. 2, 1896. They moved to the Grandfield area in 1907 and to Walters in 1945. He died in 1947. She was the oldest member of the First United Methodist Church. She had seen many changes in her lifetime, including the country's centennial year, along with the bicentennial year.
Survivors include one son, Hobert K., Grandfield; two daughters; Mrs Wilma Pyle, "Casper, WY, and Mrs. Raeburn Moore, Walters; nine grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren.
