REXBURG - Willis Grover Casper, 82, of Rexburg, died December 25, 2003, at the Rexburg Nursing Center.
He was born January 12, 1921, in Kilgore, Idaho to Melvin and Nancy Grover Casper. He grew up in the Kilgore area helping his parents and brothers ranch.
He married Lucille Preston on February 21, 1940, at Brigham City, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple in 1956.
They lived in West Yellowstone for several years where he was employed by the R.E.A. They moved to Rexburg, where he went to work for Utah Power and Light Company. He retired from the power company in 1983.
He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed boating, water skiing and snowmachining. He and his wife spent many happy hours at their place in Island Park.
Survivors include his children, Robert L. Casper of Rexburg, and Cheri A. Casper of Idaho Falls; a brother, Reo Casper of Ogden, Utah; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille; parents; brothers, Dale Casper and Milan Casper; and a son, William James Casper.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 29, at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg. Burial will be in the Rexburg Cemetery.
