William Ralph Campbell, 31, died at 6:30 o/clock Sunday morning at Silvercrest hospital at New Albany, where he had been a patient for six months.
He was formerly employed at the Boyd grocery and also worked as a clerk at the Kroger store at sixth and Washington streets before his illness. He spent most of his life in Indianapolis,moving gere 12 years ago.
Surviving are a son, William Raymond Campbell, his step-mother, Mrs. Della Campbell of this city; two sisters, Mrs. Virgil Dunn and Mrs. John Cox of Indianapolis. Two half-sisters and two half-brothers; Mrs. Ray Collins and Miss Betty Campbell of this city, Robert and Edwin Campbell of the U.S. Navy. Robert is stationed at Port Hueneme, California, and Edwin in the Panama Canal zone.
The body was taken to the Hathaway funeral home where funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wenesday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. Ralph Ahlemann, pastor of the Nazanene church. Burial will be made at Garland Brook cemetery.
The casket will be open at the funeral home thisevening where the remains may be viewed until the service.
